Hudson Valley Arts and Science,
Inc.(HVAS)is a registered 501(c)3 not for profit organization based in the
Hudson River Valley and incorporated as a not for profit agency in the state
of New York. Our mission is to celebrate and contribute to the local, cultural,
and natural histories of the Hudson Valley. Our primary activity is
the publication of the website www.ossining.org. Click here for a list of current and planned projects. The board of directors consists of Gareth Hougham (president), Brien
Hindman (Treasurer), Lorien House (Secretary), Elizabeth O'Mara, and Dominique

We are indebted to many who have contributed.
HVAS got its
start in 1997 as the Crotonville Neighborhood Association. The scope
of its activities
reached far into the greater Ossining area and led to the name "Ossining.org".
We grew out of this name too and became HVAS in 2005. Crotonville will
